From ad creative to quarterly reports, we help Sierra Club make complex issues easier to understand—and harder to ignore. As the largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the country, Sierra Club partnered with us during the rollout of their new brand toolkit to build visual design systems across print, digital, and event creative. We love everything that we work on with Sierra Club because we know it will help defend everyone’s right to a healthy world.
SIERRA MAGAZINE ADS
Sierra Magazine is the award-winning national publication of the Sierra Club, published quarterly and featuring in-depth journalism, photography, and commentary on climate change, environmental justice, green living, and outdoor adventure. We produce their program ads. The challenge is making each Sierra Club program ad feel distinct on its own, while still clearly belonging to the same Sierra Club system.
MEDIA KIT
We designed a Sierra Club media kit and advertising partnership overview to support the relaunch of their advertising program. Each slide was built for impact—tight storytelling, smart infographics, and moody, striking photography. The goal was simple: make it easy to build mission-aligned partnerships.
THE DIRTY TRUTH REPORT
The Sierra Club’s “Dirty Truth Report” grades major U.S. utilities on their shift to clean energy, calling out greenwashing when net-zero promises don’t match continued investment in coal and gas. Using infographic thinking, we broke down complex insights and highlighted the gap between what utilities promise and what they do, turning it into a clear, data-driven story readers can easily move through and understand. The result is a system that keeps the data credible, but makes it engaging enough to resonate.
OPEN TECH LETTER
We created full-page open letter ads in the San Francisco Chronicle and Seattle Times, alongside digital display ads, to reach influential audiences and drive public pressure. These ads direct people to sign an open letter calling on tech company CEOs to commit to 24/7 clean energy for their data centers.
EVENT SIGNAGE
We created navigation and way-finding signage for the all-managers meeting that made it easy to get where you needed to go. Strong branding and a high-contrast color palette kept everything clear, quick, and intuitive.
