Pushback

+ Video Production

We worked with UVM Medical Center to create a video showcasing Pushback: a community supported, medically-advised group exercise program for people with Parkinson’s Disease. Using a dynamic team structure that features Players (people with Parkinson’s), Coaches (trainers/advocates), and Partners (volunteers), Pushback aims to help slow the progression of Parkinson’s through intense exercise in a supportive and encouraging environment. This shoot was an absolute blast, and we were honored to help spotlight this inspiring program and share their work with the community.

Stop The Bleed

+ video production, copywriting, treatment

When competitive downhill youth skier Jonathan Davis suffered a severe laceration in his right thigh during a ski race, his life was immediately in danger. Jonathan was losing blood fast. For a few terrifying moments, the situation seemed dire. Luckily, some of the coaches on the mountain that day jumped into action. Using a belt, they quickly fashioned a makeshift tourniquet and were able to slow the bleeding in Jonathan’s leg while he was raced to the hospital for surgery. If not for their quick instincts, and life-saving knowledge, Jonathan’s story might have turned out differently. Instead, he was back on the mountain doing what he loves in only a few months.

Through interviews with Jonathan, his parents, coaches, doctors, and the fast-acting heroes, we worked with the UVM Medical Center to share Jonathan’s story and spread the word about Stop the Bleed. It’s a one-hour course that gives people the simple, but potentially life-saving knowledge of how to apply a tourniquet to slow the bleeding from severe cuts. Eleanor’s story

+ Video Production

Eleanor Wallace-Brodeur is one of the bravest kids you’ll ever meet. She was diagnosed with life-threatening leukemia as a toddler and still suffers from diabetes. Her doctors had to employ an aggressive form of treatment that exacerbated Eleanor’s symptoms and made her diabetes more difficult to control.

As she endured long, often painful treatment sessions, Eleanor showed remarkable courage and determination. But she couldn’t do it alone. It took a collaborative effort between her family and multiple teams of doctors to save Eleanor’s life and get her back to the busy work of being an ordinary kid. It was amazing to get to meet Eleanor, her family, and her doctors, and to be a part of sharing her story that can give hope to other families.
